Getting back to basics.

 Can’t believe I haven’t stayed with my blog.

I know better. Today is a great date to get started again. 12/12/12

Have gotten side tracked with learning curves and health issues and just living life.

It’s good to be alive at 77 and have the privileges of retirement.

The world seems to be in a mess.

Many people are suffering, while a few have so much money they don’t need. It seems so unfair.

Most people on earth are born in conditions that are so bad I can’t even imagine their suffering. To be born with money can be a real blessing that can open so many doors.

I can’t say I have an abundance of money but I thank GOD that I am blessed with a nice place to live and a decent car. Heat in the winter and cool in the summer. Plenty of food, clean water and actually more clothes than I need.

I’m surrounded with books, a radio, a television and a computer that works most of the time, a printer, a copy machine a phone and a fax machine. My latest challenge is an apple 4 smart cell phone.  I’m also thankful for a dry place to store my stuff.

Today may I challenge you to count your blessings?

You know I did that one time with a friend. At each meal we ate together, we each would add a blessing to our own list. It’s unbelievable, the list never ended. Try it you will be amassed.

One of the greatest gifts we have is our ability to choose our next thought.
