American families are facing a long period of economic stagnation or worse. By JimtheCoach 4/12/12
Most important, some new, extraordinary measures are needed to return conditions to normal or better yet improve them.
The only way to escape the trap is to recognize that current policies are not working and a change of course is required.
Here are some guidelines to consider.
First, the rules governing the financial prosperity for the average American family have failed and need radical revision. Doing what we always have done keeping the status quo seems to be unworkable in today’s economic climate which only makes matters worse.
Second, the current situation is highly dangerous and exceptional measures are needed to restore normality and then move ahead.
Finally, new rules must allow for a new way of thinking about new financial streams of income to our family income for financial stability.
We must all consider what made America Great which is picking ourselves up by our boot strings and building an income by you for ourselves that can withstand inflation and control of our very lives by big government and corporations.
Everything that made our country great seems to be broken:
Our education system. We are not competing with the education of other countries. Our kids start out with debt that cannot be paid or forgiven.
Our medical system is broken, Doctors and Hospitals do not exist any longer to help us stay well but to keep us sick so they can drain our current income and are now regularly dipping into our savings and limited reserves so they can increase their personal wealth and that of the pharmaceutical companies that found a way to control medical schools and the training of doctors to treat symptoms and not what causes us to not be well.
Our food supply system is broken: It seems that even our FDA has been infiltrated to serve Hugh corporations interests against the welfare of the American people.
Our political system is broken: Our local state and federal governments are now controlled mostly by self serving greedy politicians catering to the money and perks provided by lobbies who are controlled by corporations who have no interest in helping you or your family and are only controlled by profits. Think about it, corporations have no conscious.
I hate to say this, but all trades men looking for a way out of poverty have joined the ranks of bleeding Middle America. It’s almost impossible for the average person to afford the hundred dollars an hour and rising fees to do anything. The carpenter, the painter, the mechanic. The owner sends a 10 to 20 dollar and hour person to you and charges you 100 dollars an hour. You can see it if you open your eyes. The rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer.
I believe it all started with the doctor’s dentists, the ears, eyes, nose now chiropractors and vets and so on charging you a hundred dollars a visit. They study how to get more people thru the system, 10, 15, 20,25 patients a day, all at least a hundred dollars a visit and rising. They are making tens of thousands of dollars a day and the average income of an American is only around 30,000 dollars a year.
I don’t see things changing for the better. I don’t see trained and licensed services reducing their charges, I don’t see food or gasoline prices coming down, I don’t see the cost of rent, or housing coming down. I haven’t even talked about the price of getting old require additional services and help getting things done and then being put into an institution.
Anything you try to do now? Airplanes, hotel rates, gasoline, Automobile, Tickets for anything, food clothing shelter all going out of site.
Ask yourself how am I ever going to manage all these rising costs when my income keeps going down and down, my savings is dwindling? How will I ever manage, how will my kids find their way in this mess. What’s the answer?
Folks I’m not preaching doom and gloom. I’m talking about a way out of all of this by the way you think.
It’s time for you to suck it up and get out of your comfort zone.
It all starts with how you think about yourself.
And that all starts with how you talk to yourself.
If your self-talk is all about what your parents and family and your teachers put in your head when you were a small child then you’re stuck where you are.
A simple new rule is to start telling yourself that you like yourself.
Every time you fall down trying to get out of the mold your in tell yourself that you like yourself.
Every time someone puts you down tell yourself that you like yourself.
If you will start following this simple rule, your self-image will start to get better and better.
Why am I starting here you might ask because until you feel good about yourself you will stay stuck in your current situation and not ever become aware that it’s up to you to change your financial situation and your life style.
If you depend on your job than it’s your attitude and belief system that can help you get ahead in your job. The sad reality is that you can no longer depend on your job for your family financial stability. This is the point.
You must start searching for a way out that you control.
Most people tell me that they don’t have the time or the energy to do or try something else. Here is the hard fact of life and how our brain operates. Just as soon as you say that or think that, then it becomes true for you. You can see this and figure this out in your own mind when you start to think about it. Your perception of your reality is not necessarily true.
Here is the beauty of this type of thinking you can change your perception of reality and it all starts with how you talk to yourself and how you think up inside of your head. When you start doing that you have (the born in you power) to change things in your favor. This new biology I’m drawing this knowledge from is called epigenetic.
